Hardcover. 3 Volume Set. All 3 volumes half wrapped in black leather with green cloth boards. Spines lightly sunned with titles gilted in gold on spines. Top edge gilted. Minor edgewear to all three volumes, mainly to top and bottom of spines. Volume 1: 384pp. Former owner's name written on front endpaper. Frontispiece has small 1" closed tear at bottom of page. One page in back has small crease in corner. Crack at gutter near back of book. Volume 2: 384pp. Former owner's name written on front endpaper. 2 cracks at gutter towards back of book. Volume 3: 383pp. Former owner's name written on front endpaper. Front and rear endpapers have remains of adhesive. Front endpaper foxed around edges in pattern. Binding a little loose near front of book, and crack at gutter near back. That said, this is a very nice looking set that would look great on your shelf. We ship daily.
